Guilt

Guilt

Don’t lay your guilt down onto me, I need my head clear today
And don’t tell me how it’s supposed to be, it’s my life, supposed to be a mystery.

Most times life passes much to quickly, hardly enough time to breath.
Forever growing until grown.
But by then your lying six feet under, so much time wasted on unknowns.
So much time wasting away the home. Guilt ravaged to the bone.

Don’t know how I will feel today, even though I started out ok.
But it depends on what I’ve yet to see. More twisted tales of humanity.

Most times life passes much to quickly, hardly enough time to breath.
Forever growing until grown.
But by then your lying six feet under, so much time wasted on unknowns.
So much time wasting away the home. Guilt ravaged to the bone.

Hey babe you awake?
I am and excited to start the day.
Gorgeous as you lay. My god, how blessed am I to be here today.

Look back at your own history, no stones thrown and that’s ok with me
Dreaming dreams cry out at night to me, remnants of an over due fantasy

Your vision blinds my desire to see, when it turns out my purple is your green
So then it becomes just a game to me….musical chairs or pin the tail right on me.
