Volcano

Volcano

Once upon a long dark time ago, back when then preaching wasn’t hollow
All tucked in say and secure , before the screaming and the hollering
No we didn’t think to go, just didn’t want to
No we never thought we were, too close to the volcano

Too bad it takes a hot pot not to know, because you just wouldn’t listen
And As the story often goes, get out if it’s too hot in the kitchen
Oh, the lengths that you would go, oh to stroke your ego
No, it ever meant much to me no, it’s you volcano

4000 miles left to go, even being flat footed
A sure fire way to simply know….or perhaps you shouldn’t.

You
I want to go home

And so now we find us here, 4 score from the armory,
With nothing else left to give except your pride and your honor
No he ain’t letting go, no, stubborn alter ego
Just one big happy horse shit show, stay for the encore.

And in the end I wish you this, a life of ever learning
But, apprapo, with it comes a twist. Keep it spicy, and she winked with her eyebrow
And ever since it’s been so, good lord and gods honest.
At times, may even explode. Like a volcano.
